Pablo Valenzuela


Member of the Aurus Bios Fund Investment Committee.

Worldwide renown Scientist/Entrepreneur. He was Co-founder and Head of R&D at Chiron Corporation and at other biotech companies such as Grupo Bios, Austral Biologicals, Andes Bioscience, Ventra Bioscience and Fundación Ciencia Para la Vida.

He is directly responsible for the development of a dozen of biotechnology products valued at USD 8 billion, and inventor of more than 50 patents and patents applications. He is a member of the Chilean Science Academy and winner of the National Applied Science Award 2002.

Pablo holds a Chemistry PhD from Northwestern University, a Post Doctorate from UCSF and Bachelors degree in Biochemistry from of Universidad de Chile.
